This Teeling 40 year old Single Malt is amongst the oldest Irish Single Malt ever bottled and is a rare piece of Irish Whiskey history. First distilled in 1983, aged exclusively in ex-American oak bourbon barrels and bottled at 42.2% this historic bottling captures a truly unique taste experience, producing a complex floral nose with deep layered flavours as a result of its 40 year journey. Nose: Light berry fruit compote with hints of blueberry & strawberry, honey, spearmint, candied orange zest and light spices Taste:Warming texture with notes of coconut, milk chocolate, peach sorbet, honeydew melon and tangerine Finish: Long luxurious finish with subtle spice, soft oak tannins and honeyed sweetness
