Jameson Caskmates was born from the collaboration between Jameson and a local Brewery near Cork. Jameson triple distilled whiskey is aged in craft stout-seasoned oak barrels and while the signature smoothness is very much intact, notes of cocoa, coffee and butterscotch confirm the stout influence. Caskmates is a head-turning, modern Irish whiskey. Like all the best conversations, the one between Jameson's Head of Whiskey Science and the Head Brewer of a local craft beer brewery, started at the bar. A swapping of whiskey and beer barrels soon after, resulted in Jameson Caskmates Series with the IPA and Stout Edition.
