Mizunara Oak creates one of the most prestigious casks, and is the ‘creme of the crop’ when it comes to finishing. They are notoriously rare, as the oak itself takes around 200 years to grow and yields very few staves with the trees being so knotted. The result however when using them for finishing is an unmatched flavour profile; a complex range of aromas including kara incense, sandalwood, and coconut.
