On a summer’s morning, perfumers Alberto Morillas and Dora Baghriche visited Masami’s field to capture the olfactory notes of the Dahlia, the field’s emblematic flower. Using headspace technology, which can capture the natural fragrant compounds exhaled by flowers under a glass dome, Dahlias delivered their scents in their prime—intact and wild, to be then recreated by perfumers with/into a natural and spontaneous olfactory identity.
