Rosé Non Vintage Champagne 75cl

Founded in 1772, the Veuve Clicquot House has since lived by its motto, "Only one quality, the finest". It was actually Madame Clicquot herself who created the very first blended rosà© in the Champagne region. Exactly 200 years ago, in 1818, she broke with the accepted practice of using an elderberry-based preparation and instead blended in some of her fine Bouzy reds with her classic champagne. The result was the world’s first blended rosà©, the Veuve Clicquot Rosà©. Once more, Madame Clicquot was leading the way and changing the rules. And she could only do that thanks to the exceptional quality of her red wines, coming from sought-after vineyards. The secret was, and is, in the blend.
