The Glenlivet Triple Cask Matured Distiller's Reserve is created with the balanced influence of the three types of casks to give it a harmonious balance of fruity notes and smoothness. Triple cask matured in traditional cask, American white oak cask and ex-sherry cask. Each of the triple cask expressions demonstrate how a careful interplay of whiskies matured in three different types of cask can add depth and complexity to the original floral, fruity character of The Glenlivet single malt. The White Oak Reserve has a high proportion of the American white oak casks which creates a deep, velvety taste with subtle, creamy coconut and vanilla notes. For a richer, intense character, The Glenlivet's craftsmen have also used the 'never-emptied' solera vat.
