Tamnavulin Sauvignon Blanc Cask Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 100CL

Embark on a journey of exceptional taste with Tamnavulin Sauvignon Blanc Cask Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, now presented in an exclusive 1000ml travel retail edition. This exquisite single malt is a testament to the rich heritage of Speyside, renowned globally for producing some of the world's finest whiskies. Tamnavulin's master distillers have meticulously matured this expression in hand-selected American Oak ex-bourbon barrels before a transformative finishing period in carefully chosen ex-Sauvignon Blanc wine casks. This unique dual maturation process imbues the whisky with a delightful character, bridging the gap between the classic Speyside profile and the vibrant notes of fine white wine. Upon nosing, expect an inviting bouquet of fresh orchard fruits, hints of sweet vanilla, and a delicate touch of tropical pineapple, all underpinned by a subtle citrus zest. The palate unfolds with a symphony of flavours: ripe pears and green apples mingle with creamy toffee and a whisper of honeysuckle. The influence of the Sauvignon Blanc casks lends a bright, zesty, and slightly herbaceous quality, adding a refreshing dimension that is both complex and wonderfully drinkable. The finish is long and smooth, leaving a lingering warmth with notes of sweet spices and a final, elegant flourish of white grape. This Tamnavulin Sauvignon Blanc Cask is best enjoyed neat, allowing its intricate layers to be fully appreciated. It also pairs exceptionally well with light, delicate dishes such as seafood or poultry, or can be savoured alongside a fruit-based dessert. At 40% ABV, this 1000ml bottle offers remarkable value and an unparalleled tasting experience, making it the perfect sophisticated indulgence for your travels or a distinguished gift for the discerning whisky connoisseur.
