Extra 13 Year Old Irish Cask Whisky was created in honour of founding brothers James and John Chivas. The pair imported rums, spices and luxury food items from around the world to their shop at 13 King Street in Aberdeen in the early 1800s. Nose: Fresh red apples, cream soda vanilla, honeyed malt biscuits, sweet walnut and cinnamon. Palate: Poached pears, honey, creamy vanilla, Brazil nuts, Jamaican ginger cake and liquorice. Finish: Sweet and smooth with a hint of spice.
