Redbreast 15 Years Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey 700ml

Redbreast is the largest selling Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey in the world. Full of aroma and flavour, Redbreast 15 Year Old is matured in a combination of Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and American bourbon barrels.Redbreast dates back to 1903 when Jameson entered into an agreement with the Gilbeys Wines & Spirits Import Company to supply them with new make spirit from their Bow St. Distillery. The custom of that era was that distilleries sold bulk whiskey to 'bonders' who, being in the business of importing fortified wines such as sherry and port, had ample supplies of empty casks in which to mature new make whiskeys under bond.Gold colour with some copper tintsFull and rich aromaComplex yet balanced mix of berry fruits and aromatic oilsFully round and mellow tasteSucculence of fleshy fruit combined with spices and toasted woodLong and sophisticated finishAWARDSDouble Gold Medal, San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2016Silver Medal, Outstanding, International Wine & Spirit Competition 2016Best Pot Still in the World, World Whiskies Awards 2015Best Pot Still in the World, World Whiskies Awards 2014 Silver Medal, Outstanding, International Wine & Spirit Competition 2013 97/100 Extraordinary, Ultimate Recommendation, Ultimate Spirits C
