Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey is a wholly unique style within Irish Whiskey, pushing the boundaries of convention, at the intersect of where old world meets new. Although a common component in Irish blended whiskeys, we wanted to create a unique flavour expression of Irish Whiskey made exclusively from corn. By fully maturing this spirit in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon casks from the Napa Valley California, a highly distinct red-berry and tannic profile is imparted that is balanced perfectly with the underlying sweetness from the corn. Bottling at 46% with no chill filtration completes this whiskey of true character. Teeling Single Grain was voted “Best Irish Single Grain” at the 2017 World Whiskies Awards. A true Gem Teeling Whiskey, Irish Whiskey Aged 40 Years, Vintage Reserve Collection. This Teeling 40 year old Single Malt is amongst the oldest Irish Single Malt ever bottled and is a rare piece of Irish Whiskey history. First distilled in 1983, aged exclusively in ex-American oak bourbon barrels and bottled at 42.2% this historic bottling captures a truly unique taste experience, producing a complex floral nose with deep layered flavours as a result of its 40 year journey. Nose: Light berry fruit compote with hints of blueberry & strawberry, honey, spearmint, candied orange zest and light spices. Taste: Warming texture with notes of coconut, milk chocolate, peach sorbet, honeydew melon and tangerine. Finish: Long luxurious finish with subtle spice, soft oak tannins and honeyed sweetness.

The flagship of Teeling’s Trinity Range, Teeling Small Batch consists of hand selected casks of grain and malt whiskey, initially aged separately in ex-bourbon casks for up to 6 years, and then given further maturation for between 6-9months in ex-rum casks from Central America, imparting a unique dried fruit profile. Like all of our bottlings, this whiskey is bottled at 46% with no chill filtration, completing an Irish Whiskey of true character. Teeling Small Batch was awarded the top prize of “Master” at the Spirits Business Irish Whiskey Masters 2017.
