Jameson Black Barrel is a tribute to coopers, who painstakingly give their bourbon barrels an additional charring to reveal their untold richness and complexity. Jameson Black Barrel Personal Irish Whiskey is matured in a combination of American oak, sherry casks, and double charred bourbon barrels. Time spent maturing in these barrels lends this whiskey intensified notes of Vanilla sweetness and Caramel, alongside toasted Wood, fruit and warm spice, an embellished finish to a triple distilled smoothness.
