Benriach Smoky Quarter Cask, 1L

A principios de la década de 1970, Benriach rompió con la convención en Speyside al volver a destilar lotes de whisky al estilo antiguo del siglo XIX, utilizando cebada malteada ahumada con turba de las Tierras Altas. Benriach quarter cask peated speyside single malt scotch whisky 46% 1l gift pack

At BenRiach, we use barley malted with inland peat. It is taken from the top soil surface and is less heavy and oily than the peat from Islay, which is saturated by the sea. As a result, our spirit takes on smoky characteristics without the iodine notes that are found in Islay malts.
